Delete Your Sanctuary Account
You can permanently delete your Sanctuary account and associated app data from inside the app, or request deletion by email if you cannot access your account.
Fastest method
- 1. Open the Sanctuary app and sign in.
- 2. Go to Profile.
- 3. Choose Delete Account.
- 4. Confirm the deletion prompt. Email/password accounts may be asked to re-enter the password for security.
In-app deletion removes your account immediately from Sanctuary systems where technically possible.
If you cannot access the app
Send a deletion request from the email address associated with your Sanctuary account.
Email contactus@my-sanctuary.comInclude the subject line "Delete my Sanctuary account". We may ask for reasonable verification before deleting account data.
Data deleted
- Your Firebase Authentication account
- Your Sanctuary profile, display name, and app settings
- Garden, plant, streak, badge, flower, and Spirit Energy progress
- Step-sync records and energy ledger entries stored by Sanctuary
- Reward redemption records, voucher reservations, and notification tokens
- App-specific identifiers linked to your Sanctuary account
Limited retention
- Anonymous or aggregated analytics that cannot reasonably identify you
- Security, abuse-prevention, and server logs for fraud prevention and service integrity
- Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, dispute, or partner voucher-settlement reasons
Timing
In-app deletion usually completes immediately. Email deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days after verification. Backup, security, or legal records may take longer to age out where retention is required by law, security, or dispute-prevention obligations.
Partial data deletion
Sanctuary currently supports full account deletion. You can also revoke Health Connect or Apple Health access at any time from your device settings to stop future step data syncing without deleting your account.
