Terms of Service

With your permission, Sanctuary reads step totals from Apple Health or Health Connect to generate “Spirit Energy” that grows your digital garden:

• Steps are converted to energy using server-side calculations
• Energy automatically feeds your active plant through 10 growth stages
• Completing growth stages earns Flowers, Shards, and Badges
• Flowers can be redeemed for real rewards from partner brands

To maintain a fair experience for everyone, the following are prohibited:

• Manipulating or faking step data
• Using third-party tools to automate or cheat the system
• Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities
• Selling or transferring accounts or rewards
• Reverse engineering the app

We have server-side anti-cheat systems with thresholds for maximum steps per minute/hour. Violations may result in account suspension.

Sanctuary is a wellness and entertainment app. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, and does not prescribe exercise. Rewards do not require or instruct you to exceed limits that are safe for you.

Choose activity appropriate to your health, ability, surroundings, weather, and local conditions. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or otherwise unwell. Seek urgent help when appropriate, and consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing an activity program if you have health concerns.

Sanctuary is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or exact step-count syncing. Nothing in these Terms excludes consumer protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Sanctuary after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
